Have you ever noticed how common it is for people to complain that they have “no choice”? Well, choices are all around – all you have to do is look. Today, Canon Marketing (Malaysia), a global leader in photographic and digital imaging solutions is giving consumers more choices of printers and scanners that are especially useful in the current economic downturn; bringing into the market the PiXMA MX328, PiXMA MX338, PiXMA MX868, LASER SHOT LBP 7200C series and LiDE 700F – all equipped with different features so consumers can choose which best suits their usage.
The two new entry level printer models, MX328 and MX338, are priced at RM478 and RM498 respectively. Both these all-in-one printers (AIO) come with advanced features such as Quick Start and Auto Scan Mode. The MX338 comes with Advanced Copy Technology and is designed with a larger TFT colour viewer of 1.8”.
Suitable for both commercial and home office usage, the MX868 is a more advanced AIO inkjet printer that costs RM1588. It comes with wireless networking, new copy functions as well as added fax security.
The Canon Laser Shot LBP7200Cd and 7200Cdn are the latest duplex colour printers from Canon. With Canon’s patented On-Demand Fixing Technology, these new models eliminate warm up time thus consuming less energy and making it friendlier to the environment. Canon also announced the CanoScan LiDE 700F, a power-efficient USB-powered compact scanner. It supports up to an optical resolution of 9600 x 9600dpi (dots per inch) for film scanning and 4800 x 4800 dpi for document scanning.
Canon Malaysia is also offering an extended warranty program that will run until this September. All customers have to do is register online to be entitled to 3 years warranty on the purchased product instead of only 1 year.
