Last month, we had the opportunity to travel to Beijing, China, to participate in the HP Touch The Future. Now. regional event. The event served both as a platform for launching their new range of products, as well as a change to promote their new CSR to the regional media.

Called Power to Change, the new CSR focuses on Green IT and power conservation, and aims to get more people to turn off their workstations at the end of each work day.

According to research done by HP, if 100,000 users turned off their work stations at the end of their work day, more than 2,680 kilowatt hours of energy could be saved. This is equivalent to taking about 107 cars off the road, or reducing carbon dioxide emissions by an estimated 3,562 pounds every day.

To find out more bout this campaign, visit www.hp.com/powertochange and download the Power to change widget  to keep track of how much energy your computer is currently using up.

Once you've done with that, you can check out our latest video for a quick highlight of what happened through out the event. Also, stay tuned to Lowyat.TV because we have an exlusive interview with HP's design guru, Stacy Wolfe, coming very soon.
