LG's full touchscreen based phone the Viewty has hit Malaysia which gives most of you who are anticipating a touch based phone other than the iPhone, a chance to use and play around with what might just be the next standard in phone user interfaces. The KU-990 Viewty phone comes with a 5 megapixel camera with manual focus.
When taking photos in poor light or shaking moment, users can also
benefit from ISO800 & SmartLight and one touch Image Stabilizer
for bright and clear pictures. The LG ‘Viewty’ also has a
120fps video recording function and can be shared with a single-click
connection through HSDPA 3.6 high speed internet capability to YouTube.
A jog wheel placed on the back of the handset allows for quick
scrolling and searching; and when playing music or videos it can turn
the volume up and down, fast-forward or rewind and zoom in and out.
Users can easily select the modes – ‘Camera’, ‘Video’, ‘Album’ with the
3-step module key.
The LG-KU990 Viewty is available at RM2,099. The WiFi enabled model of the Viewty the LG-KS20 will be launched here sometime in January 2008. Read on for tech specs.
