Today we look at Sharp's new J-Phone, get up close and personal with the G-Phone, take a peek at what's under the hood of the new MacBooks, and peel bananas till kingdom come.

Full story after the jump.

New Sharp J-Phone released, rest of the world drools with envy.

Everyone knows that J-Phones stand miles ahead of conventional mobile phones in terms of technology (and coolness), but not everyone knows that only a select few models can actually work here in Malaysia. Ironically, we somehow always find ourselves wanting the models that we can’t  use, and here’s one more to add to that  long list - the newly released Sharp 9225H.

In true J-Phone fashion, the unassuming front flips open to reveal a QWERTY keyboard, it does email, music playback and something called 1Seg streaming TV, sports a 2MP camera, and has a microSDHC slot. You might say that the features list isn’t one of the greatest around - in fact, we think it’s a mangled pile of rubbish - but ultimately, who can resist the coolness of a J-Phone.

T-Mobile G1 review.

No, we didn’t get one. And no, we don’t know when it will make a Malaysian appearance, let alone an out of the USA appearance. But yes, we will provide you with another hands-on review that isn’t from us. Divided into two parts, with part one encompassing the hardware review and part two covering the software aspect of the Gphone, we reckon that this ought to satiate your Android dreams for the time being.

Apple’s new MacBook and MacBook Pro go under the knife.

Ever wondered what makes the new MacBook and MacBook Pro tick? Well, the guys over at ifixit have. In fact, they’ve been so consumed by the carnal need to get under the new MacBook’s skin that they’ve gone postal on two unfortunate units. Click on have a look at the innards of the aluminum beauties, but we warn you that it isn’t for the faint of heart.

The Endless Banana, unfortunately won’t feed the world.

Banana addicts rejoice, for the Endless Banana is here! No longer does one have to peel a banana and - gasp - eat it! With the Endless Banana, you can relive the joy of peeling a banana, and when you‘re done, simply fold up the flaps of “skin“ and start over again. Promising hours upon end of endless peeling action, the creators of the Endless Banana make the experience even more realistic by enlisting the talent of Saki Fujita, who’s voice has been recorded reenacting the sound that a peeled banana makes. We’re guessing it’s a quaint sort of “quish-quish”, but we could be wrong…
