HP has unveiled an innovative line-up of personal mobile and desktop computing productsthat have been designed to reflect consumers’ personal and professional lives through meaningful innovations and the next-generation designs.
 HP TouchSmart PC
This include two special edition consumer notebook PCs; the Pavilion dv2600 series Special Edition Entertainment Notebook PC and the 15.4 inch HP Pavilion dv6500 series Special Edition Entertainment Notebook PC both with new HP Imprint designs; a Designed-in-Asia-for-Asia notebook PC (the HP TouchSmart PC) ; largest-ever expansion of four new iPAQs (the HP iPAQ 912 Business Messenger,the HP iPAQ 612 Business Navigator, the HP iPAQ 212 Enterprise Handheld, and the HP iPAQ 112 Classic Handheld), as well as the HP Pavilion Elite m9000 Series Desktop PC and the latest high definition widescreen monitors; the HP w2207h 22-inch and HP w2408h Vivid Color 24-inch.
The prices for the launched products are as follows. RM1,300 for the HP w2207h 22-inch, RM1,900 onwards for the HP w2408h 24 inch, RM5,688 onwards for the HP Pavilion Elite m9000 Series Desktop PC, RM5,499 onwards for the HP Pavilion dv2616TX and RM5,999 onwards for the HP Pavilion dv6601TX series. The HP iPaqs will be available in November so no prices are available as yet.

The HP Consumer Notebooks
The ‘Verve’ and ‘Influx’ HP Imprint designs by HP’s award winning design team reflect HP’s attunement to the increasing attention to personal styles and design preferences by consumers in Asia. The ‘Verve’ HP Imprint Finish is available on the HP Pavilion dv2600 series Entertainment Notebook PC – a 14 inch entertainment notebook PC. The ‘Influx’ HP Imprint Finish is available on the HP Pavilion dv6500 series Entertainment Notebook PC – a 15.4 inch entertainment notebook PC.
Both the HP Pavilion Entertainment Notebook PCs introduced today are built with HP’s trademark meaningful innovations such as enhanced QuickPlay, integrated HP Pavilion Webcam and Microphone, finger print reader and HP BrightView technology as well as the latest Intel processor technology for superior entertainment experiences on the go.
The HP iPaqs
In order to help mobile professionals stay connected to the people and information to meet the demands of their business needs, the 3G-enabled HP iPAQ 912 Business Messenger and HP iPAQ 612 Business Navigator deliver push email, voice and GPS navigation. These handhelds join the powerful HP iPAQ 212 Enterprise Handheld and HP iPAQ 112 Classic Handheld, suited for enterprise and personal productivity respectively.
HP iPAQ 612 Business Navigator & HP iPAQ 912 Business Messenger
HP iPAQ 612 Business Navigator and HP iPAQ 912 Business Messenger are both Quad-Band and also offer both 3G and HSDPA connectivity as well as Wi-Fi. It also comes with Assisted GPS and Voice Commander features, such as Voice Reply, allows for hands- and eyes-free reading and response to emails.
The HP iPAQ 912 Business Messenger features an alphanumeric QWERTY thumb keyboard and a predictive text tool for fast typing. The HP iPAQ 612 Business Navigator on the other hand features a 12-key design and is optimized for single-handed usability with a Smart Touch navigational wheel and 3-way thumb wheel for easy scrolling through email, zooming in and out of maps, or navigation through music and video files.
Both iPAQs come with the Windows Mobile 6 operating system boast a 3-megapixel camera and a bright touch screen. The HP iPAQ 912 Business Messenger and HP iPAQ 612 Business Navigator also support HP’s mobile device management solution, the HP Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS), for easy setup and over-the-air manageability.
