Christmas is just over a month away, and if you haven't already started shopping for Christmas cards, you might want to drop by Foldees.com. From now until 1 December, any card purchased from Foldees.com (at a paltry US$2.00) will be eligible for free shipping to anywhere around the world. And if that wasn't a sweet enough deal for you, Foldees.com will even throw in one for free - all you have to do is rate all 60 (sixty) cards from their recent "A Comic Book Christmas" competition!

Pop on over to www.foldees.com for more details.

cmorbutt: I haven't bought cards for sometime. Last time I did, decent ones can be bought at RM3+ (of course not Hallmark ones heh). As for me, I prefer a personal touch so I make my own cards with a handwritten message, that's why I prefer traditional :-) Like chak said, to each their own~

Appreciate the animated discussion, but to each his own guys happy-smiley

enveluv's a great service, and I know one the owners well. We're running two different business models that both have merits.

Although i would still say our designs kick more ass :p

Emily: True, but what kind of greeting card can you get for RM5.30 (RM7.10 - RM1.80)?

Foldees cards are A5 in size (that is half of an A4 paper), printed in glossy colour on Natural Evolution 280g paper, which is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).

If i were to compare the quality of Foldee's cards with existing cards in the market, I would estimate an equivalent card from Hallmark to be around RM10 or more.

Don't forget the inconvenience of having to drive out to the store, parking, looking for a card, going to the post office and posting the card ;-)

Besides, since Foldees is giving away a free card before Dec, why not check it out for youself and then decide if you still like to do it the old fashioned way, or to try out the Foldees way =D

If we were to do it the traditional way (air mail) - assuming a card does not weigh over 20 grams - the most postage we have to pay is RM1.80 (Zone E, check it up Pos Malaysia site). I've sent mails to US before and it takes around 2 weeks.

From the article, USD2 is about RM7.10. If we were to buy our own card and mail it the old fashioned way, it will still be less than the offer, though not by a wide margin. So to each their own happy-smiley

Sorry, I can't help being frugal thumbsup

amirsubhi: But can you send to all over the world?

Are the designs as unique and funny as the ones on foldees?

You can also submit your design to foldees and if people buy it, you get paid! =)
