Forums abuzz again with reports of of tremors being felt across KL right down to Johor Bahru. More updates soon.

Update : Confirmed reports of a 6.2 magnitude quake southwest of Sumatra, epicentered 49KM from Padang. No tsunami threat  We just realized that 6.2 was registered at 10.47am local time, which would make the one reported here an aftershock of sorts.

Thumbs up to the Malaysian Meteorology Department, they had a incident report as well as this map up at their site within 10 minutes!

Back to work people! Cool

Update: So much for getting back to work! Another tremor was felt at approximately 1:50 pm. Once again, our Met Department is on the ball and have updated their incident report with information of a 5.9 quake on 1:49 PM local time.
