This news isn't official yet, but our forumers have been confirming that DiGi is now offering 365 days validity for their prepaid service. This is inline with the recently announced MCMC directive compiling all mobile cellular service providers to introduce prepaid packages with longer validity periods of at least 180 days. All you have to do is top up RM100 into your account, and the account will remain active for the next one year!
This latest offering from DiGi is another shot in the face to rivals Hotlink, who last week introduced their own offering which requires an upfront payment of RM33, and a minimum top up of RM30 for the first six months in order to enjoy the 1 year validity period.
Celcom are yet to announce any new offerings top comply with the MCMC directive as yet.

Comment: I recently change from digi to maxis because the signal keeps on dropping with my 3.5G phone. In a nutshell, digi's not playing ball with it. I would definitely reconsider staying if they'd introduce 3G. That would pretty much address the issue with my phone's current woes. When is that gonna happen? Any ideas?

Comment: I'm Celcom XPax user and rarely using phone except anything that's urgent. If Celcom didn't intro such package in short period, I definitely switch to DiGi.

Comment: Celcom has yet to response to MCMC directive because they "always think poyo" about local consumers loyalty to their services offered. That is why they are always response to the last minute and not even sensitive to local needs!
They thought that they can make more money by sponsoring "outsiders" from Indon or UK to promote their product & services.
