It really makes one wonder why others don’t change their password, particularly if they cracked into a device. For those who are using jailbroken iPhones with SSH installed and are still using the default password, you’re in trouble - iPhone has just gotten its first worm targeting at these users. When infected, the background of the phone will be changed to a photo of Rick Astley, then it'll look for other phones in the network to infect. Word of advice? Change your password!

Name: madcatz	Comment: But I believe this is incomplete, the key thing you should do is change the ROOT password for your iphone/ipod which is very crucial. The Same thing in MobileTerminal, type "su" and it will ask for the default password "alpine", type "passwd" in the console then do as the previous comment by sugen suggested

Comment: This is how you can change your password First off, fire up Cydia and download an application called MobileTerminal. It’s nice and small so shouldn’t take too long. Once downloaded launch it and you’ll be faced with a screen very much like the screenshot over on the left. It’s basically a terminal window just like OS X and linux. Now just enter the command: passwd Now you’ll be asked for your old password which should be ‘alpine’, followed by your new one (twice). Nice and simple.
