Build Your Own Touch Sensitive Musical Light Up Hoodie

We've seen couple of light-up hoodies in few shops around the town before but how about a touch sensitive version of it? How about if it also plays music according to your touch level?

That is exactly what Kanjun Qiu created for the High-Low Tech research group at MIT Media Labs. Named as Soundie, she also wrote the step by step instructions to build it yourself at Instructables (http://bit.ly/MVRSy). The overall cost looks pretty steep though as all listed parts in the guide were in US Dollar.

We hope local tech gizmos out there would be able to recreate this hoodie with a more wallet friendly price tag and locally sourced parts. Checkout the video demo (http://bit.ly/AFOVY), we can already imagine playing Kalinka with it while doing Russian dance at the same time.
