The New BenQ Digital Cameras
DC C840:
The BenQ DC C840
digital camera, successor to the C740i, features an 8-megapixel CCD sensor, smc
PENTAX lens, Face Tracking function, Shake-Free mode, high ISO options, optical
zoom in video recording and 3:2 and 16:9 special output sizes.
The C840 is equipped
with an array of functions including shake-free mode which prevents image blur
caused by shaky hands, allowing users to take clear and precise shots without
any distortion. It also supports continuous movie recording with optical zoom
at wide screen format (720x400) at 30 fps (frame per second). The Face Tracking
function detects and tracks human faces and then focus to ensure the faces are
perfectly presented in terms of color and clearness in the photos.
The Shake-Free and High
ISO portrait mode enables users to capture crisp images in low-light condition
environment. With the ISO supports up to 1600, the new BenQ C840 is one of the
most light-sensitive models in its class. The 3:2 output sizes supports easy
printing without trimming edges while the 16:9 mode supports direct display on
16:9 TVs.
The camera boasts 15
different shooting modes, including manual mode, shake-free mode, portrait mode
and night scene mode, providing users quick setting adjustments for a variety

DC X835:
The DC
X835, the world's slimmest 8-megapixel digital camera at only 12.5mm, offers 3X
optical zoom, 2.5-inch LTPS screen as well as Super Shake-Free mode to prevent
blurry images.
The DC
X835 can detect and track up to nine human faces and focuses it accordingly to
produce images that are clear and crisp.
The DC
X835 is also equipped with the newly enhanced Z-lighting function which enables
users to adjust the brightness of the subject that has been underexposed due to
excessive backlighting of insufficient flash illumination.
On top of

DC T800:
The DC T800 takes the
record as the world's slimmest 8-megapixel camera with a 3.0" touch screen
display. The camera sports a super slim exterior, a large 3-inch touch screen
display, smc PENTAX lens, super shake-free mode and high ISO options. Other new
features include Face Tracking function, Tap to Enlarge
and Pioneer Photo Editing.
BenQ DC T800 is
equipped with an 8 mega pixel CCD sensor and a 3x smc PENTAX optical zoom lens.
Furthermore, it possesses a 3-inch, 232,000 pixel resolution LCD monitor with
touch screen capabilities. Users can write memos on their images or activate
camera functions by touch.
The Face Tracking
function automatically detects and tracks up to nine human faces and then focus

The compact camera is
equipped with a Super Shake Free system with a sensitivity of 2000 ISO and a
high setting at 6400 ISO that can be engaged during movie mode. Users can

The T800 boasts 12 different

DC E1000:
The BenQ E1000 features
a bright 3-inch LTPS LCD display, a 10 mega pixels image sensor, 3X optical
zoom in both static and moving recording mode, automatic face-tracking function
and a high ISO of up to 1600. Designed for individuals with discerning taste,
the E1000 features a metallic casing and an a solid metal grip with brushing
treatment on the front of the camera, along with matted black finishing case to
boost up the overall taste.
The E1000, which
recently won the G-Mark (Good Design) Award, supports ISO of up to 1600 to
facilitate shooting and ensures clear photos in darkly-lit environments if the
use of flash is not desirable. The camera arrives with a Shake-Free hotkey
located right next to the shutter button that allows instant access to activate
the Shake-Free function anytime. Capturing moving objects in a darkly-lit
environment can now be achieved easily with BenQ's enhanced image stabilizer -
the Super Shake Free function, which adjusts ISO and shutter speed according to
the environment where the image is taken.
With Face-Tracking
function, the E1000 is able to detect up to nine faces within a scene to ensure
that the faces are perfectly presented in terms of color, contrast and
clearness in the photos. The camera boosts 24 shooting modes, including
Composed Scene Mode, Oil Painting Scene Mode and Sketch Scene Mode. Other
features include a unique function that enables user to capture twelve
consecutive scenes in just one second, embedded creative photo frames and
PictBridge mode, which allows easy connection and printing directly via a
compatible printer. Moreover, the camera also supports two output sizes that
enable users to print, display and edit pictures on a widescreen displays
(16:9) or traditional 4:3 displays.
The camera offers
amateurs and professionals an easy way to adjust aperture and shutting
according their liking by incorporating the P/Av/TV/M mode. Aperture and
shutter speed can be adjusted with the Av mode and TV mode, respectively,

MP511+:
The new
BenQ MP511+ digital projector is targeted at avid video gamers, home theatre
enthusiasts and business professionals. Ideal for
movie and television enjoyment and professional business presentation as well
as gaming, the MP511 features a sharp 2000:1 contrast ratio and a high 2000
ANSI lumen brightness as well as 800 X 600 SVGA resolution in either 4:3 native
aspect ratio or a selectable 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio. The 2.6kg BenQ MP511
can project images from 30 inches to 300 inches in a full 16.7 billion color
palette glory. The
MP511's BrilliantColor technology enhances screen brightness and brings out

The Texas Instruments'
BrilliantColor Technology increases brightness of mid-tone colors up
to 50%, resulting in highly saturated images.
Featuring UNISHAPE lamp lighting technology, the MP723 is able to vary the
intensity of the projector lamp in synchronization with its digital mirror
device (DMD) and color wheel, allowing an increase of 40% in brightness and
boosts specific colors in different application modes. The 3D Color Management
and Wall Color Correction Technology ensures consistency in colors, so that it
reflects colors in its true form.
The BenQ MP723 comes equipped with a
detachable key pad and a new intelligent lamp protection system. The detachable
key pad allows consumers to easily secure the projector. The Lamp Care
function eliminates the
possibilities of overheating and light bulb damage when the projector is
turned on and off frequently within a short period of time. When making restarts,
the projector automatically detects if the lamp temperature is cool enough to
be restarted. If the lamp is not cool enough, the system will then activate the
pre-cooling system before making restarts. With Lamp Care, the light bulb is

projector displays brightly and features a compact housing with a convenient
