ASUS has been releasing a slew of graphic cards and these two new ones from the company have joined the fray. The two cards in question are the EAH3650 SILENT/HTDI/1G and the EN9800GX2 TOP/2DI/1G. The ASUS EAH3650 SILENT/HTDI/1G is what ASUS claims to be the first EAH3650 graphics card model with 1GB graphics memory while the ASUS EN9800GX2 TOP/2DI/1G utilises Nvidia's Dual GeForce 9800 GPUs.
The ASUS EN9800GX2 TOP features a 1GB framebuffer, and gamers can expect core, shader, and memory clock performance boosts from 600MHz up to 670MHz, 1500MHz up to 1675MHz, and from 2GHz up to 2.13GHz respectively. This generates an astounding 3DMark06 score of 16936 and provides an astonishing 11% improvement in terms of core performance when compared to any other reference designed board*. It is also designed for the new PCI Express 2.0 bus architecture – which offers the highest data transfer speeds for the most bandwidth-hungry games and 3D applications; while maintaining backwards compatibility with existing PCI Express motherboards.
The ASUS EAH3650 SILENT/HTDI/1G on the other hand features the latest generation of ATI GPUs; and with an unparalleled large onboard memory size, is designed to provide feature-rich DirectX 10.1 gaming and the best multimedia playback at ultra-high resolutions and maximum quality settings. Additionally, it natively supports HDMI and is equipped with a noiseless cooling solution.
Both cards are already available on the market and their RRP are RM370 for the ASUS EAH3650 SILENT/HTDI/1G and RM2,430 for the ASUS EN9800GX2 TOP/2DI/1G. Read on for more info.
