The API point reading has improved according to the latest API reading released by the Department of Environment at 5pm today.

The API reading for Klang has dropped back below the dangerous level of 500 to 486 and Kuala Lumpurs API dropped to 295 from 321 earlier in the morning. However the API reading in Shah Alam increased to 430.
