AirAsia Gadget for Windows Vista

Made the jump to Windows Vista? Looking for gadgets to fill up that empty and empty-looking Sidebar? Shopping for cheap airplane tickets? (I hear you say 'HUH' but stick with me for a bit longer)

Well, AirAsia has got just the thing for you as they've just released an AirAsia Vista Gadget that saves you from making the daily pilgrimage to the AirAsia website or heaven forbid, actually perusing your newspaper for those bright-red AirAsia ads.

We techies hates that nasty black ink on our fingers so the AAVG is just the gadget for looking out for AirAsia promotions, as long as you have Vista of course. I'm still Vista-less myself, so I'll have to make do with this screenshot below.

If you have Vista, give this Gadget a try and let the rest of us Vista-less folk know it runs. On a side note, kudos to AirAsia for releasing a gadget for an OS that has only been released 3 days ago. Now get working on the Mac OSX widget please!

Cool...just installed it on my Vista! I was expecting to be able to search for air tickets directly with the gadget though. But, no..it's more like one-way LIVE FEEDS. You can also click on the tiny arrow buttons manually on the gadget to view the other latest offers and announcements, or it will just transition continously. And, if you right-click on the gadget, you will also get 'options' to choose to receive information based on your selected 'Destinations' or travel 'Months', specifically. Have not truly experimented with changing the options, however...
