Acer's newly designed Aspire PCs

Acer has announced a whole new design and feature line up for its desktop Aspire series of PCs. Both the new, "Stream of Power" design and key entertainment features, respond to foreseen consumer demands for the latest technology in a distinctive design.

Acer’s new Aspire desktops come in two versions: the stunning M5 series offering a full gloss, two-tone surface and the most powerful specs; and the M1 which packs valuable features in a pleasing mono-tone design.  Consumers tired of the constant, boxy design of many desktops will be please by the new Aspire PCs. With a full 30L, micro-tower space for robust expandability, the new Aspire PCs offer rounded contours and a multi-angled surface for true visual pleasure.

The new Aspire series updates its entertainment capabilities along with its classy design. Depending on which model you choose, Aspire computers offer you such productive, powerful features, such as quad-core processing – both Intel and AMD solutions, discrete graphics, up to 3GB of Memory, and hard drives featuring up to 500 GB of space per disk.

Stay tuned for local pricing and read on for more info.

The high-performance M5 series features optical drive doors, which maintain a solid, one-piece look with the glossy black surface. A falling mirror silver finish flows form the power and ODD buttons for a rich contrast to the shiny black. White LED lights illuminate the highly visible Aspire logo and power button.

All two versions feature Acer's distinctive media deck, which places convenient ports and jacks at the top of the PC, closer to the user when the machine is placed on the floor, along with a non-slip space for storing electronic devices and more. A new USB keyboard/mouse set perfectly pair with the new Aspire M series’ design. The USB keyboard comes in a dual-color, silver/black finish, and the keyboard offers handy quick keys and a volume wheel above the num-pad. The USB mouse offers 1000 dpi optical precision for accurate selection and movement every time.

Additionally, new to 2008, Aspire M5201 supports ATI Hybrid Graphics. These graphical solutions eliminate graphical waste, by combining the power of discrete graphics with onboard graphic functionality already embedded in our customers' Acer Aspire PCs. The result is the best-in-class performance for value level and entry level discrete graphics cards, providing great entertainment and gaming at a fraction of the upgrade cost. Rounding out these multi-functional, multimedia systems, Acer equips selected M5 series with 7.1 surround-sound and S/PDIF support, TV-tuner card with remote control, and with the new standard in hi-def display connections, HDMI, for seamless connection with monitors and modern TVs.

Acer Aspire L3600

Acer Aspire L3600 delivers energy-efficient performance and whisper-quiet operation in a space-saving form factor that's up to 10 times smaller (3 Litre Size) than a traditional PC tower. Only slightly larger than a hardback book, Acer's new ultra-compact chassis packs all of the features home-users need to accomplish their everyday tasks with efficiency and ease.

The mirror-polished black finish fits in perfectly with the digital home and integrates seamlessly with existing consumer electronics.

Aspire L3600 is equipped with the Intel G31 chipset and Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3100 which delivers superior video quality.
