Getting into e-commerce world is not as hard what might some think. But it definitely requires more than just a pretty website. That is exactly why Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation together with .my DOMAIN REGISTRY have come out with 1nita – a national e-commerce program made exclusively for women entrepreneurs.

The program aims to achieve three different objectives:

-   To provide the skills and knowledge of building a successful online business through trainings and workshops.

-   To build a cohesive support community of women entrepreneurs that will go on to expand the 1nita initiative through networking, training and mutual assistance.

-   To establish a robust women e-marketplace exchange that promotes lucrative e-commerce opportunities amongst Malaysia women entrepreneurs

With that, the 1nita initiative offers pretty much everything that women entrepreneurs needed to jump into the fast moving world of e-commerce. On top of that, the program participants also will receive a .my URL address for their online establishment - without any charges at all, a perfect way to strengthen both their online presence and national identity.

The project is also strengthen by contributions from partners such as Multimedia Development Corporation, National Council of Women’s Organisations , Pusat Kajian E-Komuniti UKM and Radical Box Sdn Bhd together with supports from Jabatan Pembangunan Wanita, SMECorp and SIRIM Berhad. With so many top notch agencies and organizations involved in 1nita, expect a lot of top-notch expert tips to be gain from the program.

For starters, the program will be making rounds through Klang Valley, Melaka, Sabah, Sarawak and Kedah throughout 2010. Interested? Give a call to the organizing team directly at 03-89927272 or email them at . For more information about the whole initiative, click on 1nita official website (http://www.1nita.my).

Seem like another 'rakyat money wasting' program. It is now easy to setup e-commerce site. See what service like http://lot.my is doing, they just give free e-commerce to everyone without even using rakyat money.
