Comment: of course, multitouch in malaysia is already common thanks to iphone. what's next is developing really elegant and well thought out applications. these days, almost anyone with a good head can build a decent multitouch table/wall. to get it running smoothly is another thing.
Late last year, with the help of NUIgroup, I managed to build a multitouch screen (40inch) using materials readily available from Jalan Pasar, Pudu. Cost was under 500 (without projector). BTW, I'm not a programmer nor am I an engineer/technician.
And for anyone who's built such a thing would know that ambient light from the sun/lamps will interfere with the screen, and is one hurdle to . However there are workarounds on this, found on the NUI group, which is one great community to learn from.
On another note, I hope this blame game has stopped, and has moved on to better things. Yes, I do believe the rule of the game is to give credit where credit is due. And give back to the community where giving back is due.
