Comment: I am in bandar baru sentul, and the P1 guy came to my place (23rd floor), and got 2 bars for the signal strength. I tested the P1 modem today 23 Aug, and you tube was loading significantly faster for the same video (like 10x faster). I also downloaded a movie clip for another different website, and streamyx gave me about 5kbps (I am on streamyx 1MB package)..hell slow. When i Used P1, it was like 132kbps and never went down below 120kbps. When I went to P1 website to test the speed, it gave about 1.4MB speed and download about 600kbps. When I used streamyx and used P1 website to test speed, it gave about 1.2MBPs and upload abt 350kbps. However, although the number compares quite well, Streamyx is way slower when browsing various websites and downloading movies. I think streamyx is clogged up. Maybe there are just too many users and the nuts and bolts have gone too tight or what. P1 is relatively new. I wonder if P1 will also face same thing when the number of users have increased later? Then again bear in mind P1 is wireless, maybe there are less nuts and bolts and the connection is easily "upgraded" when required.
