ssd is for pure mobile uses. ssd as a flash disk works like cf card. no moving parts. therefore, the system functions well even while dring on rugger road. normal hardisk has moving parts, if not-shock proof then the hardisk may not its read/write head properly when you use them in rough, mobile ways. nothing to do with electricity
