Comment: Bullcrap! Instead of verifying businesses that apply for the shortcodes and making sure that they don't spam consumers, Maxis is sending us even MORE spam that tells us to avoid these 'hoax' sms.
Maxis should act reponsibly on spam reports and shutdown the shortcode services for these businesses. Instead they choose to keep quiet and tell their customers i.e. us, that they cannot do anything about it.
