Asus has released the ASUS P5N72-T Premium motherboard. Equipped with the ASUS exclusive EPU technology for astounding energy savings, this high performance motherboard supports enhanced specifications of the front side bus and memory – able to reach an FSB of 1600MHz (O.C.) (originally 1333MHz) and 1200MHz(O.C.) for memory (originally 1066MHz).
The new ASUS exclusive EPU is the world’s first intelligent on-demand power saving microprocessor. This intelligent automatic energy saving chip is more stable than software-driven solutions, and provides users with superior performance while in energy-saving mode in comparison to other solutions. By utilizing an innovative power technology, the EPU is able to digitally monitor current CPU usage and automatically fine-tune the CPU power supply with improved VRM efficiency to suit any loading. The EPU is thus able to provide users with the ability to moderate power for higher performance if required, or save CPU power under low processing periods for the best possible performance with the least amount of power – achieving industry-leading power savings.

Microsoft announced that Windows Live SkyDrive, launched at skydrive.live.com, will be available to all Malaysians starting today. This offers the 7.4 million-strong MSN and Windows Live community in Malaysia with a free, password-protected online storage and sharing space to access files and share with the people they choose.
Windows Live SkyDrive provides consumers with 5 GB of free online storage, which equates to approximately 1,000 songs, over 30,000 Microsoft Office documents of average size, or 30,000 digital photos at a resolution of 1200x1200. However, there is a 50MB limit on each file uploaded.
“Windows Live SkyDrive is a great way for people to keep the information they need at their fingertips in order to access directly or to share with other people,” said Craig Law-Smith, Marketing Director, Microsoft Online Service Group, Southeast Asia. “Our goal is to provide a service that people really love and value. Part of that is providing plenty of free storage to meet the majority of our customers’ needs. During the beta period, one of the main pieces of feedback we got was that people wished we provided more storage. We listened to them,” said Craig.

Sirim website latest to be compromised |
|
by Vijandren Ramadass

Thursday, 22 May 2008 12:42 PM |
I guess they weren't kidding when they awarded Malaysia the not so prestigious award of having the highest amount of malicious online activity in the region. The latest website that has been compromised and is being used to spread malicious scripts belongs to a company that oversees quality assurance across thousands of products - SIRIM.
The compromised URL is 'www.sirim.my/pop_event2.asp?id=685'. Its still live at time of writing so we do not recommend you to access it unless you have a very reliable anti-virus installed. From our initial tests, the latest firefox seems to be immune to the script. A malicious script that downloads an unknown program from a .cn url has been injected into the page. Our checks however reveal that only the particular page is compromised via either an unsecure script or a badly written sql statement. Other parts of the SIRIM website at the moment remain untouched.
Google has already classified the entire SIRIM site as being unsafe and potentially harmful. Any direct links via google search that points to the SIRIM website will be directed to google's safe browsing page
http://www.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=sirim.my.
So, would somebody in SIRIM care to take the compromised page down soon. As it stands now, the link to the page is being spammed across websites around the world. Google alone has already indexed about 50 of these sites.

The night belonged to Manchester United.
After 2 hours of football failed to separate the sides, it was down to a heart stopping penalty shootout to decide whether the UEFA Champions League trophy went to Manchester or London.
Ultimately, in sudden death of the penalty shootout (thanks John Terry!), Edwin van der Sar's save from Nicolas Anelka's penalty ensured Manchester United were the kings of Europe, deservedly in my opinion, and crowned United double winners again.
Too much drama, too many in-your-heart moments to mention here, but one could say it was United's destiny to win it. Appropriately and fittingly, it was Sir Bobby Charlton who led the players to collect their winners' medals.
Congratulations is in order!
