Lenovo 3000 Y410 Review

Conclusion

Overall, the Y410 is a great effort by Lenovo in producing a consumer line notebook. That is not to say that it could do with some improvements chief among them is improving the viewing angles on it. Also if the Y410 is to be a true entertainment notebook, Lenovo should consider getting it outfitted with a mini remote as well as maybe buffing up the notebooks graphics capabilities. Other than that, the Y410 is a pretty good entertainment notebook. At around RM4,299, you'll find that the Y410 might be a bit pricey especially as it doesn't come with a dedicated graphic processor.

Pros:

-          VeriFace security features that actually work

-          Better than average speakers with subwoofer

-          OneTouch recovery for easy fixing of notebook

-          Good battery life

-          Cool slot in optical drive

Cons:

-          Pricing is a bit on the high side

-          Looks a bit plasticky when closed

-          Not very good for graphic intensive gaming
