Not long after we published the launch date of the new Huawei Ascend P6 in Malaysia just few hours ago, yet another important detail have come to our knowledge. We are able to confirm that the Huawei Ascend P6’s will be priced at RM 1399, according to our Storekini (Lowyat.NET’s own online store, in case you haven’t notice it) colleagues who attended Huawei’s distributor briefing/dinner earlier today.
That being said, the exact availability date for the device is not known at the time being and will most probably be announced at the media launch event next week. For those who are not familiar with Huawei Ascend P6, the 6.18mm-thin smartphone is equipped with a 4.7-inch 1280×720 in-cell display and is powered by Huawei’s own K3V2 chipset that features a 1.5GHz quad-core Cortex-A9 CPU and Vivante GC4000 GPU.
The smartphone was initially unveiled to the world in London last month and it also features Huawei’s own Emotion UI that runs on Android 4.2 right out of the box. To learn, check out our initial hands-on experience with Huawei Ascend P6 right here or visit www.facebook.com/huaweideviceMY.
