Samsung Galaxy Golden

Love clamshell phones? Samsung hears you, well, Samsung in South Korea at least. The company has just introduced the Galaxy Golden, a new clamshell Android device for its home country and will be available with various of its telcos – SKT and KT. The mid-range Android device will pack better specifications than the dual-screen one that was recently introduced for the Chinese market.

The Samsung Galaxy Golden (SHV-E400) features two displays – 3.7” AMOLED with WVGA resolution, and is powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core processor. It has an 8MP rear camera, a 1.9MP front facing one and has LTE connectivity on board. Other specifications include 1,820 mAh battery, Android 4.2, Samsung UI features such as S Health, business card reader and more.

The phone will be available only in South Korea, with a price tag of 799,700 won, approximately RM2,300; that’s pretty darn expensive if you ask me.
