The timing was rather weird but Nokia has finally released its much awaited Qi wireless chargers here in Malaysia – right on the eve of Chinese New Year. According to Nokia Malaysia’s official Facebook page, four Nokia Stores around Klang Valley has started to offer those products which are located in The Gardens, Sunway Pyramid, Plaza Low Yat and Suria KLCC.
We made a short visit to the Nokia Store in The Gardens few hours after the announcement was published and found out that the store are carrying three different Nokia Qi wireless charging products which are listed below together with the pricing for each of them:
- JBL PowerUp Wireless Charging Speaker for Nokia MD-100W: RM 1289
- Nokia Wireless Charging Pillow by Fatboy DT-901: RM 309
- Nokia Wireless Charging Stand DT-910: RM 319
However, the stocks are the branch were so limited that DT-901 and DT-910 were already sold out by the time we arrived at the store. Furthermore, the staff at the store have also informed us that the standard wireless charging plate DT-900 and the wireless charging shell CC-3041 for Nokia Lumia 820 have yet to arrive in our market.
Nevertheless, do stay tuned for our impression of both Nokia DT-901 and D-910 wireless charging devices as well as our first look at the JBL MD-100W speaker coming your way very soon.
