At the ongoing BlackBerry Jam tour, which is now in Amsterdam, the company has announced that BlackBerry 10 developers will receive a Z10 device – in a super cool, limited edition red colourway.
BlackBerry also announced the news – and a photo of the handsome device in the sexy colour – via a post on its developer blog titled “Thank You Developers!” as a mark of appreciation for the BB10 developers who believed in the platform. The company has also extended the deadline for app submissions for developers to be eligible for these limited edition devices to February 28, where there will only be 12000 released.
This is just the latest in a series of acts of good faith by BlackBerry for its developers. Besides giving Dev Alpha devices for developers, it also launched a 10K Developer Commitment program. If you are a BB10 developer and interested in the Limited Edition Z10, head on to the BlackBerry’s developer page here.
