Just in time for the upcoming Chinese New Year, Yes 4G has just announced their new partnership with Konsortium Transnasional Berhad (KTB) to deliver wireless broadband service on selected Nice and Plusliner buses starting from 5 February.
Passengers on those select buses will be able to connect to Internet through Yes 4G using their Wi-Fi enabled devices or for passengers that travel on Nice buses, they can choose to utilize the Nice tablets that are holstered at their seats as well. The service is not fully free of charge though – users would have to purchase the additional 500MB pass (which costs RM 5 each) once their free quota of 30MB is fully utilized.
We reckoned that the service would definitely help passengers overcome their boredom throughout the long bus ride. However, we do believe that it would be more helpful if Yes 4G or KTB are able to come out with a list of Nice and Plusliner buses that actually equipped with the service for easy reference.
