Almost six months after the debut of Microsoft Office 2013 Consumer Preview, the productive suite is finally ready for prime time. Just moments ago, Microsoft has announced that its new Office productivity suites are now available in 162 markets throughout the world.

In general, the new Microsoft Office 2013 is available in two different versions: the first is the single install Microsoft Office 2013 which most of us familiar with and the second version is subscription-based Office 365 although both of them do feature the same Microsoft Office applications that we all are familiar with such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

However, the standard Office 2013 suites are made to be installed on just one single PC while the subscription-based Office 365 suites can be installed on multiple devices and include several online features such as additional SkyDrive storage and Skype world minutes. Additionally, active Office 365 subscribers will also have the access to future Office upgrades.

However, do note that the actual entitlements differ from one type of Office 365 suite to another. Here is a little table to show you the price differences between each version:

Additionally, customers that purchased the older Office 2010 and Office for Mac 2011 between 19 October 2012 and 30 April 2013 will also be eligible for free upgrade to the new Office 2013 or Office 365. To learn more, visit office.microsoft.com.
